Creative Development Workshops (schools & charities)
Our High Maintenance Jewellery creative development workshops have always been very successful in sharing our artistry and passion for jewellery. Shown through hands-on practical work, the participants become Jewellery Designers by planning, designing, and creating their own jewellery piece!
High Maintenance Jewellery creative development workshops encourage, support and guide in patience, creativity, fine motor skills, sharing, problem solving and confidence building. Not only do the students create a meaningful piece of jewellery, they also create positive and happy memories - whilst gaining an insight into the world of art and also business.
HMJ have held workshops to a variety of age groups, from 4yrs right through to adulthood. We have also worked with Sirius West Academy High School, Kelvin Hall High School, Kingston Youth Centre, Ainthorpe Youth Centre, The Teenage Cancer Trust, Home from Hospital, MacMillan, and The Children's University, holding creative development workshops.
*please note we are fully DBS checked, and conduct a thorough risk assessment before every workshop we hold.
INDIVIDUALITY & IDEPENDENCE!
Silver Package
£16.99 per attendee (aged 4-16yrs)
HMJ will arrive at your chosen venue to set up. Each attendee receives their own work station, and can choose from the creative materials provided.
Our Creative Designer will give a fun and interactive talk with practical instructions, on how the piece of jewellery can be created. The participants shall all create the same style of jewellery, but with their own style of design.
We are on hand to help with the creative process, plus to guide and help, including anything that requires the use of tools.
HMJ can also advise the attendees on the business and marketing elements when creating products and how to plan for retail, etc. if required/requested.
Each child shall receive a quality achievement certificate, and shall be able to take their created piece of jewellery home with them!
The workshop will last approximately up to 1.5 hours (including 15mins to set up). A minimum of 8 students are required, and a maximum of 30 students.
CREATIVITY & CONFIDENCE BUILDING!
Platinum Package
£23.99 per attendee (aged 4-16yrs)
HMJ will arrive at your chosen venue to set up. Each attendee receives their own work station, and can choose from the creative materials provided.
Our Creative Designer will give a fun and interactive talk with practical instructions, on how the piece of jewellery can be created. The participants shall all create the same style of jewellery, but with their own style of design.
Each child shall receive a quality achievement certificate, a keepsake storage bag, positive affirmation stickers, a glossy keepsake creators quote card, and shall be able to take their created piece of jewellery home with them!
Also included in this package are our exclusive designer sketch sheets where each attendee can carefully plan, sketch, and design their work using colour, sizing, pattern and symmetry.
We are on hand to help with the creative process, plus to guide and help, including anything that requires the use of tools.
